Umeå University had a major power outage on 19th of Tuesday. The power surge following the outage has damaged the power stabilisers, the UPS and the rescue power generators. This is a very unusual event and the repairs are ongoing. Until the power is stabilised and all the rescue system is repaired Umeå University will have limited data function and vital systems as email Lync and main website are prioritised.
Our servers are down but the power need to be stabilised before they will be turned on. We apologize for the inconvenience but well be back as soon as possible.
